I pride myself in being able to take an amazing photo of every client’s backside. I mean, who has a good photo of their butt? Not many of us!
Soon after I started shooting Mrs. T she informed me that I did not have to take a picture of her butt. I knew immediately it was because she didn’t think it would look good. I know from talking to so many women that most of them think the women on my site and blog are different than them. That they’re models and that their photos don’t have a chance of looking as good. So…I took the butt shot anyway. Several in fact. Mrs. T needed to know….she’s beautiful from all sides 🙂
Needless to say she was flabbergasted when she saw her pictures….especially the butt shots!

What made you decide to book a boudoir shoot?
One of my friends had it done and her photos where amazing!! Then when I saw Jolene’s Facebook page and saw woman who where at their most vulnerable state, and they looked beautiful and strong I was curious. And they all talked about the amazing experience they had, well I had to see what it was all about.
Did you have any fears going into your session?
Yes so many. I was afraid all my imperfections would show, but curious enough to take a chance.
How was the actual session different from what you expected (if at all)?
It was so awesome, I felt great. Jolene made me feel very comfortable and we talked as though I had known her my whole life.
What was your favorite part of the entire experience? (hair and makeup, the shoot, image reveal, giving the images etc..)
My favorite part was image reveal. When Jolene showed me my pictures I couldn’t believe it. I was like wow. She took pictures of my butt and I didn’t believe that was me. She knows what she is doing with position, and lighting.
How has the response been to your images?
Amazing!! Everyone says how beautiful they are, that I look sexy. People say it must be so empowering and it is!
What is your advice for women interested in a boudoir experience?
My advice is DO IT!! Be nervous, be scared but do this for yourself!! You are beautiful and you need to see yourself as such!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of your experience?
Yes! I look at myself and think, this is me a mother of two and a grandma. Am I perfect no, do I need to be no. But I feel pretty great about what I see, and who I am. Thank You Jolene!!
