Last February I hosted our annual photographer’s shootout with my Certified Madness Podcast crew in Vegas. For the last two years, we’ve piggybacked the WPPI convention and It’s been such a great way to connect with like minded souls and ditch the cold, WI weather!
When my friend, Brit asked me to shoot her boudoir photos again this year I was super excited to take them out in the Nevada desert this time. If you know me at all, you know I am a bit obsessed with anything and everything desert. The complimentary desert color palette is just so different than what we’re used to here in WI. The open spaces, the mountain ranges….I could go on!
We took our little rental car way out onto Jean Dry Lake Bed just before sunset and amidst some crazy trucks and four wheelers, we created these images. I honestly thought the beauty of the sun drenched desert and Brit herself was going to be the end of me.
