What made you decide to book a boudoir photo shoot?
Being a nurse and always wearing scrubs. Not being able to dress up everyday for work, I wanted to feel beautiful. Over time you start to forget your true beauty and compare yourself to others. I gained that confidence back! Plus I wanted to have a nice 1 year anniversary/honeymoon gift for my hubby. He does so much for me and our little family that I wanted to give him a little thank you gift.

Did you have any fears going into your session?
Some fear, haven’t had the best experience in the past with photographers and not liking my final results and not feeling confident during the shoot. Jolene really hyped me up which made me feel more comfortable and confident.

How was the actual session different from what you expected?
Very comfortable and relaxed. We went with the flow and it was such a nice experience. I expected it to be go go go but we talked and laughed. I got to go to my “nothing box” and just have a blast.

What was your favorite part of the entire experience?
The shoot, image reveal and giving the images! All of it was amazing.

How has the response been to your images?
Shocked, I was so happy to see them all. I was shocked that those pictures were me! I was in aww!!:)

What is your advice for women interested in a boudoir experience?
DO IT!! You only live once. You are only young once. Don’t overthink it and go for it!

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of your experience?
Yes, I feel confident, sexy and beautiful. I gained that confidence back. I stopped comparing myself to others. Yes they are beautiful but so am I, in our own individual ways.
