What made you decide to book a boudoir shoot?
I wanted to do something special as a wedding gift for my soon to be husband. However, it turned out to be more of a gift for myself and my self confidence than I could have ever imagined.

Did you have any fears going into your session?
I was more excited than anything. I had read so many other women’s testimonies about how empowering their experience was and I couldn’t wait to have my hair and makeup done and take beautiful photos.

How was the actual session different from what you expected (if at all)?
The session was everything I imagined, in the best way possible! Jolene was such a blast to work with and she has the kindest heart. Everything was amazing!

What was your favorite part of the entire experience? (hair and makeup, the shoot, image reveal, giving the images etc..)
Looking through the photos! Waiting that week for Jolene to edit them after my shoot so that I could have the digital copies was a true test of my patience. I couldn’t wait to get them and start showing everyone!

How has the response been to your images?
My girlfriends are all obsessed with them! I have given them all access to my digitals and they can’t stop talking about them. Waiting these next three months til my wedding to show my husband will be nothing short of torture!

What is your advice for women interested in a boudoir experience?
Do it! Book it right now! Don’t wait to lose weight or feel more confident, this experience will make you feel so beautiful and confident and in love with yourself just the way you are.

Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of your experience?
I feel so much more confident in myself and my images helped me to see the beauty in myself that so many others already saw.
