What is your age? 41
What do you do for a living? nurse
What made you decide to book a boudoir shoot?
I thought it would be a great gift for my husband
Did you have any fears going into your session?
Ummm…yes…lots. first off prancing around in front of a total stranger in my undies…then how was I really going to look in these pictures…but after the session and getting to see them…I was amazed at how great they were.
How was the actual session different from what you expected (if at all)?
I wasn’t really sure what I was going to expect, but Jolene was great throughout the whole session, very professional and friendly, makes you feel comfortable.
What was your favorite part of the entire experience? (hair and makeup, the shoot, image reveal, giving the images etc..)
I would have to say that there wasn’t anything I did not like. Loved it all! But seeing the images at the end was my absolute favorite!
How has the response been to your images?
have not shown anyone yet…
What is your advice for women interested in a boudoir experience?
I say go for it! You will be amazed at how you look. Even if you aren’t sure, or think you don’t have “the body for something like that, it is an amazing confident booster.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty as a result of your experience?
I think I can safely say that we all have body image issues at some point in our lives. No matter the size or shape. I was amazed at how I looked and couldn’t believe that it was actually me in those pictures. Love how I look!!!

As a photographer, the significance of intent cannot be overstated. I create photographs of women for themselves first and foremost. While some clients may choose to share their pictures with their significant others, my primary objective is to craft imagery for YOU first and foremost. I want you to look at your images and FEEL something. I want your images make you feel powerful, confident and self aware. I want your images to remind you of where you are right now. What you’ve overcome and where you are heading.

I photographed my first boudoir photoshoot in 2007, and since then I have been in absolute awe of what boudoir shoots do for women and their self confidence. As a woman myself I completely understand the struggle. It’s getting better out there, but we are still constantly bombarded with messages of not being good enough. […]
